Can Pakistani students work while studying in the UAE?
Yes — UAE student visa holders can work part-time with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their university. Many students work in Dubai's thriving services, hospitality, retail, and corporate sectors. After graduation, converting to an employment visa is relatively straightforward, especially in IT, finance, engineering, and hospitality.
Is studying in UAE cheaper than studying in UK or Australia?
UAE fees are comparable to mid-range UK universities but higher than Germany or Eastern Europe. However, the proximity to Pakistan (cheap flights), large Pakistani community, tax-free salaries during part-time work, and direct career access to the Gulf job market make UAE an excellent value for specific career goals — especially finance, real estate, hospitality, and logistics.
Does a degree from UAE branch campus have the same value as the main campus?
Heriot-Watt Dubai, Middlesex Dubai, and Birmingham Dubai award exactly the same degree certificate as their UK campuses — there's no mention of 'Dubai' on the degree.
